For Shopify, Etsy, eBay & Amazon sellers in the US, UK, EU, Canada & Australia

Is anything in your shop on a recall list? Check free.

Enter your shop's web address. ShelfRecall reads your public catalogue and checks every product against official recall and safety notices from six regulators: US CPSC, Health Canada, EU Safety Gate, UK OPSS, Australia's ACCC and Product Safety NZ. Then it keeps checking, weekly for free or daily from $12/month.

  • Possible matches by brand and model code
  • EU GPSR missing-fields pointer
  • Results by email, usually within the hour

Why sellers use it

Recalls are public. Finding the one that hits your catalog isn't.

Regulators in six countries publish hundreds of notices a month on separate websites. ShelfRecall compares them with the products actually listed in your shop, by brand and model code, and only speaks up when something lines up.

Before the marketplace asks

Amazon, eBay and Etsy pull listings linked to recalls. Hear about a matching notice soon after it’s published, plus a pointer when manufacturer or EU responsible-person details look missing from your product pages.

Your catalogue, not keywords

We sync your public shop catalogue (Shopify and WooCommerce) or a product CSV you upload, and match each product’s brand and model code. Add up to 20 extra keywords for suppliers you watch.

The official source, every time

Each alert shows the product, hazard and date, links to the agency's own notice, and has one plain line on what sellers usually do.

How it works

FAQ

Questions, answered

Who is ShelfRecall for?

Online sellers on Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Walmart and similar marketplaces, and small brands and wholesalers, who want to know when a product they list or stock appears in a government recall or safety alert.

How does matching work?

For each product in your catalogue we look for its brand and its model code or SKU in the notice. A possible match means a brand (plus a product word) or a model code in your listing also appears in the notice. It is not a confirmed recall: compare brand, model and batch with the official notice. We also flag recent notices about product types you sell, and you can add up to 20 keywords. Notices that use different names or no brand can be missed.

What does the free scan read?

Only what any visitor can see: your public product list (for Shopify and WooCommerce shops) or the product URLs in your sitemap, plus up to two product pages to look for manufacturer and responsible-person details. No login, no app install, no access to orders or customers.

What is the GPSR checklist?

For products sold to consumers in the EU or Northern Ireland, the EU General Product Safety Regulation (in force since 13 December 2024) asks sellers to show the manufacturer’s details, and an EU responsible person when the manufacturer is outside the EU. Pro lists the products where we can’t see these details on your pages. It is a pointer, not a legal assessment; some apps show the details in ways our check can’t read.

Which countries do you cover?

The United States (CPSC), Canada (Health Canada), the European Union and EEA (EU Safety Gate), Great Britain (UK OPSS), Australia (ACCC) and New Zealand (Product Safety NZ). Paid plans get all six whichever country you sell from.

How do I pay?

Through NOWPayments, which accepts many cryptocurrencies. Click a plan, enter your email and you'll be taken to a secure NOWPayments invoice page. We never see or store wallet keys.

Can I pay with a debit or credit card?

Yes, by using your card to buy the cryptocurrency first. It usually takes a few minutes:

  1. Pick a low-fee coin. USDC on Solana or Polygon, or Litecoin, keeps network fees low.
  2. Buy it with your card. Use an app you may already have that lets you send crypto to an outside address, such as Coinbase or Revolut where available in your country. Or, with no app, use a card checkout like MoonPay, Ramp or Transak in your browser and paste the invoice address as the wallet address.
  3. Open the invoice and send. Click a plan above, choose the same coin and network on the NOWPayments page, then send the exact amount shown to the address shown. The invoice stays open for a limited time, so it's easiest to buy the coin first and open the invoice when you're ready to send.
  4. Allow for fees. Buy a dollar or two more than the price. Some apps take the network fee out of the amount sent, and an invoice that arrives short won't complete.

If you get stuck, email [email protected] and we'll walk you through it. The yearly plan means one payment and one network fee for the whole year.

How does monthly billing work?

Before each renewal we email you a fresh invoice link. If you don't pay it, alerts stop at the end of the paid period. Nothing renews automatically.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free scan checks every product in your public catalogue once, then a weekly check covers up to 25 products. Upgrade to Starter for your whole catalogue checked daily.

Does this make my shop compliant?

No. ShelfRecall is an alert service. It doesn't give legal advice or guarantee compliance with any law or marketplace policy. Always read the official notice and, if unsure, ask the agency or your marketplace.

How do I cancel or change my catalogue?

Email [email protected] or reply to any alert. Cancelling stops renewal invoices, and alerts continue until the end of the paid period.
